Types of Eyewash Stations

Types of Eyewash Stations

A Combination Stainless Steel Eyewash Station is an emergency safety device equipped with both a shower system and an eyewash system, installed directly on the ground. When chemicals splash onto a worker’s clothing or body, the shower system can be used to flush the affected areas for at least 15 minutes. If harmful substances splash onto the eyes, face, neck, or arms, the eyewash system in the combination station can flush these areas for at least 15 minutes.

A Freestanding Stainless Steel Eyewash Station includes only an eyewash system and no shower system, and is installed on the ground at the work site. It can be used to flush the eyes, face, neck, or arms for at least 15 minutes when exposed to harmful substances. Freestanding eyewash models include imported freestanding eyewash stations, stainless steel freestanding units, top-grade stainless steel models, electric-heated units, heat-traced models, and frost-resistant options.

A Wall-Mounted Eyewash Station (also known as a wall-mounted or wall-connected eyewash station) includes only an eyewash system and is installed directly onto the wall at the work site. When the eyes, face, neck, or arms are exposed to hazardous chemicals, the eyewash system provides a high-volume flush.

A Countertop Eyewash Station can be installed on a worksite countertop and is mainly used in factory, school, or hospital laboratories. With a rescue radius of up to 5 meters, it has only an eyewash system, designed for flushing the face, eyes, neck, and arms. Laboratory countertop eyewash models include stainless steel countertop units, imported countertop eyewash stations (with and without eyewash basins), and imported wall-mounted eyewash stations.

Emergency Showers

Shower and showerhead models include only a shower system, with no eyewash system.

Emergency Eyewash Stations

Emergency eyewash stations are primarily used in large petrochemical, electronics, and disease control industries.

A High-Performance Anti-Corrosion Stainless Steel Eyewash Station is made from stainless steel 304 with a specialized coating on the surface, allowing it to resist corrosion from various chemicals effectively.
